PERSONAL TRAINER
Ben Hale
The brief
Ben coaches in person in West Hollywood and online worldwide, taking a small number of clients at a time. His existing site did the job of listing services, but it looked like every other self-built trainer page: a script wordmark over a gym photo, a pink gradient bar, three pastel boxes with emoji, five stars and a "BOOK NOW!!" button. Nothing about it said "selective coach".

What we built
Treat the site like an index card for one person. A dark panel on the left holds the name at display size, a one-line role, and a small ledger of facts (based, since, now, find). It stays pinned while the right side scrolls. The right side is a bento grid: a statement tile, an acid green availability tile, a two-by-two feature photo, a dark services tile, four more photo tiles with mono caption pills, a numbers tile and a three-step "how it works" tile. Under the grid, a dark contact block with the email address as the headline. One accent only, an acid green that reads as fitness without a single dumbbell icon. Clash Display for the big type, Satoshi for reading, DM Mono for labels, so the page feels like a kit rather than a template. Photography is running and motion led: a black-and-white panning shot, motion-blur feet, golden-hour silhouettes, a low track sprint and a neon athlete portrait. Three breakpoints. Tablet drops the grid to two columns and keeps the spans. Phone stacks the panel on top and runs the tiles full width. A one-page site that reads as a coach with a waiting list, not a trainer looking for clients. Every tile, caption and colour is editable in Framer without code.
